The date

Our daters had a meal at Wolfgang's Steakhouse

First impression

Persephone: “He’s quite cute. I liked that he put in effort and gelled his hair. He pulled out the chair for me at the restaurant – I was very impressed.”

Sam: “I thought she was quite hot and had an interesting dress sense. She seemed like a cool girl.”

Chemistry

Persephone: “We had a great conversation and I appreciate that he was very candid. I liked that he is a family-oriented person.”

Sam: “She’s very cultured and knows a lot more than me! She likes history and we bonded by talking about World War II.”

Awkward Moment

Persephone: “He came straight from work and didn’t do well with Small talk. But after he got over his nerves, things were okay.”

Sam: “It’s my first time on a blind date. I was nervous so it took me a while to open up. But she’s a good conversationalist so I felt more comfortable easily.”

Afterwards

Persephone: “After dinner, we took a scenic stroll through the Boat Quay to the MRT station. He took a longer route home so we could continue talking.”

Sam: “We discovered that we both love chocolate so we stayed on longer at the restaurant and ordered thechocolate mousse. We took the MRT back together after.”

Verdict

Persephone: ♥♥♥♥ “He was very sweet and polite. I wouldn’t mind meeting him again.”

Sam: ♥♥♥♥ “I was looking to meet someone I could talk to and this turned out great. We’re meeting up again this weekend!”
