The date

Our daters had a meal at Kinou

First impression

Bee: “Jeremy seems like the good-boy type.”

Jeremy: “She seems very cool, hip and trendy, especially with the way she styled and dyed her hair.”

Chemistry

Bee: “There wasn’t really any chemistry.”

Jeremy: “There was definitely a connection due to our intellectual interests in the creative arts and our similar sense of humour.”

Awkward Moment

Bee: “We had to be reminded by Ben (the owner of Kinou) to savour the food before it turns cold because he was talking so much.”

Jeremy: “The closest I can think of is when we got so distracted with eating the delicious dishes, but those were moments of mutual silent content.”

Afterwards

Bee: “We went back home afterwards, couldn’t do much on a weekday!”

Jeremy: “We ended up talking until around 10.15pm and continued chatting during our walk to the MRT station where we exchanged phone numbers.”

Verdict

Bee: ♥♥ “He talked a lot but didn’t ask much about me during the date but he’s knowledgeable in arts and mythology.”

Jeremy: ♥♥♥ “I had a fun time! I could’ve laughed and talked about many things with Bee. It would be nice to get to know each other more.”
