Enjoy a smokeless barbecue meal at Yakiniku-GO. This casual heartland eatery utilises an electric grill to cook up cuts of beef and chicken – all without the lingering odour. Sample a wide range of affordably priced sets; the Yakiniku-GO set ($15.80) offers a sampling of beef short plate, ribeye steak, and even slices of beef tongue. Other highlights: the popular double karubi set ($15.80) with short plate and boneless short rib; the Angus ribeye steak set ($15.80); and the beef and seafood set ($16.80). There’s also the DIY Niku Sushi Set ($6.80) where you can construct your own sushi with freshly grilled meat.
Most of the sets come priced under $20, and comes with rice, soup, and a choice of salad or kimchi. Can’t choose? Then opt for the Manzoku platter ($17.80) where five different types of beef cuts are served alongside beef tongue, chicken, and lamb. Don’t forget to pair the slivers of smoke-kissed meats with some housemade sauce. Choose from four Japanese-inspired dips: the sweet Yakiniku tare; spicy Yakiniku tare; an umami-laden miso tare; and our favourite, the negi shio tare where the addition of Japanese leeks with lemon, lime, orange, and yuzu juice helps cut through each greasy mouthful.
