This café, opened by buddies Jerome Lam and Jereborne Lam, brings the bagel craze to our shores. Here, the dense and chewy bread comes either savoury and sweet, with creations like the Lox ($11.90), topped with cured salmon, cream cheese, red onions, dill, capers and pickled beets. The Gypsy ($9.90) is a cereal-crumbled bagel French toast with berries compote, cream and honey maple syrup. Wash them down with a soup of smoked tomatoes with mozzarella and pesto ($3.90), or drinks like cucumber juice ($3.90) and long black ($4).
