This husband and wife operation has been serving up fragrant plates of Chinese-style nasi lemak since 2002 when it first set up shop at the hawker in Old Woodlands Town Centre. Having relocated to Marsiling Mall in 2018, Tian Tian Lai still retains its standards when cooking up plates of this rich dish and continues to see long lines of loyal and new customers. On its menu are 18 different sets (from $2.70) featuring ingredients like fried egg, fried chicken wing, luncheon meat and mixed vegetables. Also, if you have certain cravings in mind, feel free to pick your own ingredients as you’re not limited to just the menu. Whichever you choose, don’t miss its crispy fried chicken wing or drumstick that’s also juicy on the inside, and its fried egg which is almost always cooked perfectly – think soft white and runny yolk.
