Located at one end of the busy stretch of North Bridge Road is veteran brand The Ramen Stall. Expect to slurp on ramen that are infused with local twists like the ever-popular Volcano Ramen where dollops of a paste made with red chillies and dried Indian chilli padi are added for an explosive flavour. The Ramen Stall takes pride in their broth which is boiled for over 30 hours to get that signature milky smooth texture and deliciously rich flavour.
The Ramen Stall also offers dry ramen and chilled soba for those who prefer something without broth. This is a noodle joint but the menu is extensive and includes other Japanese favourites like sushi, tempura and grilled fish dishes like saba fish and unagi. Sharifah Yusoff
