This isn't your regular run-of-the-mill Western stall. Owner Gary Lum has had over ten years of culinary experience working in hotel restaurants, and it reflects on The Carving Board's menu – focusing lots on grilled mains and pastas that are of restaurant-quality yet affordable. It's spin on the classic Niçoise ($14) is a garden of romaine lettuce, steamed green beans, cherry tomatoes, olives and, not to forget, a slab of grilled tuna steak as the pièce de résistance.
