Booking a seat in Bangkok’s Sorn is allegedly the most difficult task on hand for most gourmands visiting the Thai city. But what if we told you that the acclaimed Southern Thai restaurant is coming to Singapore shores? On August 18 and 19, chef Supaksorn “Ice” Jongsiri will join hands with local culinary maestro Malcolm Lee of Pangium for an intimate collaboration that marries two cultures and their respective cuisines.
The dinner theme follows the unique culinary DNA shared by both chefs, from ingredients and techniques down to their efforts to showcase age-old family recipes. Guests will be treated to a synergistic tasting menu that involves Ice’s approach to Southern Thai cuisine, taking cues from the southern tropical forests while Malcolm draws inspiration from the Strait of Malacca.
Priced at $328 per diner, the exclusive collaboration will happen at the lush grounds of Pangium.
