Going to Bangkok may be out of the question now but there are ways and places in Singapore to re-live your BKK nights. Besides the reliable Golden Mile Complex and its slew of Thai eateries and amazing supermarket, there's another place in town. Hop on a bus or train to Orchard Road to the open-air Thai-themed hangout spot next to Concorde Hotel.
If the delicious and cheap street food is the main thing you miss about the city then you're in luck. The space which used to be a hawker centre has now been converted to a street food paradise with plenty of snacks, bites and of course, beer.
There are currently five stalls at the venue – Shiok Shiok Grill where you can find Japanese-style skewers, Mookata King for Thai flavours, Korean barbecued meats at Seoul Hungry and Star Seafood for crab, oysters and more seafood. There is also the Drinks Store where you can enjoy beer promos throughout the night and guzzle down Thai milk tea. Shiok Shiok Night Market also opens till late (3am!) so here's another late-night hangout option for you and your friends.
