Named after the supposed “best day of the week”, Saturday House used to be a popular brunch spot tucked in one of the shophouses along Upper Paya Lebar Road.
Today, it’s a perfect hangout spot that exudes a relaxed and inviting vibe the moment you enter. Its dishes – mostly American- and European-inspired delights – are equally lovely for a formal lunch or casual dinner.
If you're in the mood for something crispy and indulgent, the bacon cheese mushrooms ($10) is a must-try. These lightly battered morsels of mushroom are stuffed to the brim with bacon bits, delivering a satisfying crunch with every bite. And those who want their taste buds to go on a little roller coaster ride may opt for the marmite mid-joint wings ($8). Be surprised that the unique flavour is quite a matching complement to the tender meat.
