Marbled fresh cuts of imported prime beef from Hokkaido and A5 grade wagyu from Kagoshima await at this Japanese barbecue restaurant and steakhouse. Order the Renga-Ya BBQ Platter ($89/300g, $139/500g) and have the meat barbecued yakiniku-style over hot charcoal. Or tuck into a hearty 200 gram steak ($39-$89), flame-grilled and coated with ponzu radish or peppercorn sauce. Lunch is a more affordable affair with limited quantities of the Hokkaido prime beef set going for $19, as well as a range of udon and rice dishes served with Kagoshima pork or Hokkaido beef priced between $14 and $24.
