This family-run heritage spot has been serving traditional Hakka foods since 1969 and is one of oldest and last Hakka restaurants in Singapore. Its menu contains about 18 dishes, representing Hakka people from different provinces in China. While you might be tempted to order familiar Hakka dishes like salted chicken ($20), and Hakka stuffed beancurd ($8-$16), don’t miss the Hakka staple homemade yam abacus seeds ($11–$22), also known as suan pan zi.
