Group executive chef Lorenz Raich has something up his sleeves this Oktoberfest. An easy-on-the-stomach spin of the traditional Oktoberfest grub, his menu features a lighter version of the usual rich, pork-abundant platters – think giant pretzel with either pork knuckle or farmer sausage (from $23). Also expect other dishes like the Bavarian meatloaf salad served with a pretzel ($20), preserved and smoked spreads with salted pretzels ($22), and roasted pig liver with poached apples and mash potatoes ($26). And what's Oktoberfest without the beer? Down a pint or two of Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier. After all, it's the only one of six breweries in Munich that's allowed to serve Oktoberfest beer.
