Ninja Bowl

After the success of its donburis enjoyed at Babette Restaurant and Bar, the Astronauts Group opens a cafe dedicated to the Japanese rice bowl. CBD diners can enjoy proteins like grilled eel ($16) or tuna tataki ($19) on a bed of carbs of their choice, and vegetarians aren't left behind either with options like the Geisha ($14), filled with a wholesome combination of balsamic tomatoes, button mushrooms, buttered carrots and a wobbly onsen egg to ooze into the bowl. Service isn't charged at the cafe, but take note that prices stated exclude the additional $2 to $3 for base carbs like quinoa, orzo pasta or Ninja Bowl's own rice blend.
