Magic Square

Something exciting is brewing on Portsdown Road. Magic Square is a pop-up restaurant incubator project by Ken Loon of The Naked Finn that's only open till the end of the year. It sees different young chefs taking over the kitchen each month – in June, it was Marcus Leow, a former chef at Michelin-starred modern-Australian restaurant, Whitegrass, and this month, Abel Su, a former sous chef at Odette takes the helm. The chefs are constantly tweaking and experimenting with recipes, presenting an ever-changing nine-course menu ($78) to an intimate group of 18 diners each time. Catch a dinner here while you can.
