Some people never got over their goth phase... and it shows. All jokes aside, this trendy little joint from Los Angeles is well-known for its eminently 'grammable "goth" soft serve, an all-black cream-and-cone combination that has led droves of customers to queue for a taste (and a snap). The famous cone ($2) is made from activated charcoal and hand-rolled daily, while the black soft serve is in fact coffee caramel ($7). Other flavours offered include the vivid blue Unicorn Tears ($7), white chocolate ($7), and a vegan chocolate and peanut butter banana ($7.50). Dairy-free options and toppings are also available. And just for National Day, a limited edition bright red cone ($2) will be offered from August 5 to 11. The outpost in Wheelock Place is also bound to attract those who are there for the 'gram. Decked out in monochromatic shades, it's a mirror-image of its Los Angeles parent. A second outlet is slated to open by the end of the year.
