Time Out says

Bring your dinner-and-a-movie date to new heights with Le Petit Chef. Taking over mezza9's wine cellar till December 30, the world's smallest chef is serving you dishes inspired by his intrepid travels down Marco Polo's Silk Road.

Be sure to arrive early as the experience kicks off with a complimentary welcome cocktail or mocktail at the party room. You're then led to the intimate La Cave, where a friendly host leads you through the experience. Screened onto your dinner table, the two-hour adventure has you following Le Petit Chef as he crosses the sea into the Middle East, flies down to India, climbs up the Himalayas before landing in China. Along the way, you're served dishes inspired by each stop, from butter chicken with naan to steamed seabass served with crispy deep-fried noodles.

Manage your expectations though, you can't actually interact directly with Le Petit Chef. Still, you're in for a fun night filled with moments that will bring a smile to your face. Plus, you might learn a thing or two as you chat with your host and the other diners at your long table. This also isn't meant to be a stuffy fine-dining experience, in fact, most of the dishes are supplied by mezza9. The team have complete control over the menu, so if you've been to a similar show somewhere else in the world, you'll find that the dishes on offer here are completely different.

There are two different six-course menus to choose from – Marco Polo's Journey ($188) and the more premium Marco Polo's Expedition ($288), as well as a Marco Polo's Kid's Adventure menu for children aged four to 12 – and sessions are held at noon, 6pm and 8.30pm daily. Seats are fully booked till October so if you're looking dine in November or December, you better get booking soon.
