This heritage stall in Berseh Food Centre no longer sells shark meat, but you can still enjoy another Teochew dish it’s famous for—pork trotters in aspic jelly, also known as tir kah dang. With over 50 years of experience in preparing this laborious dish, you can be sure you’re getting the real deal. The jellied meat cubes are served on ice with a side of chili. Rich and umami, this dish is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
