Local ingredients and flavours are given a twist by award-winning nomadic culinary collective Paris Popup. The trio – London native chef Harry Cummins, Montreal-born sommelier Laura Vidal and and Julia Mitton – takes over the kitchen at Open Farm Community for three weeks where Cummins presents an all-day dining menu of 12 sharing plates with a contemporary French flair. All dishes presented use at least 70% Singapore-grown ingredients sourced from farms in and around Singapore such as shrimp chawanmushi, edible garden city sorrel and young coconut ($16) and local pearl grouper, lala calms served in fermented black bean tapenade and local greens ($29).
You can also opt for a 'feed me' omakase menu ($65/person) – where you'll get served six savoury dishes and two desserts to share. Of course, no French dinner is complete without a glass of red or two – let Vidal pair your dishes with a selection of natural wines ($50/person).
