Casual Mexican restaurant Hombre Cantina in collaboration with yakitori joint Bincho are creating a menu that fuses Japanese and Mexican flavours. Helmed by chef Asai Masahi and head chef Jorge Leon, this event features tostadas made of salmon tataki dressed in pungent garlic miso ($14) and charcoal grilled chicken wings flavoured with mentaiko ($14). Sweet offerings include cajeta (a Mexican syrup of carmelized goat's milk) tempura ice cream drizzled in Dulce De Leche sauce ($10). This one-time event does not accept reservations, so be sure to drop by before the plates are wiped clean.
