The trio of restaurants at Faber Peak are putting together a festive feast, titled 'Jolly Holly-Days', whose highlight will have you dangling in the air in a private cable car cabin. That's part of Dining on Cloud 9: for $288 a couple throughout December, the meal serves up such hearty dishes as roast butternut and apple chowder, shoyu-marinated beef shortribs, and pistachio-encrusted cod fillet before finishing with a chocolate raspberry cream bombe.
On Christmas Eve and day, head over to Faber Bistro and Spuds and Aprons. The former is whipping up a four-course meal ($95) that includes pan-seared scallops, striploin steak and pink baby snapper fillet. And the latter's East-meets-West à la carte menu – with the likes of foie gras with soft-boiled eggs, chilli crab, and crispy pork belly – caters to those already tired of turkey.
