IWD at Ichigo Ichie

Ichigo Ichie spotlights the work of Japanese female trailblazers on this special day. To show support, chef Akane Eno creates a special menu that showcases sake and produce from three female suppliers that she works closely with. Akane Eno herself has many achievements, with one being the only female Japanese chef leading a restaurant in Singapore. To commemorate IWD further, Ichigo Ichie also holds an exhibition of pottery and lacquerware created by three Japanese female artisans – Eiko Tanaka, Mayuki Kato, and Rui Mito.
