Remember Ah Ma’s table, where every dish was a labour of love? This year, let Grain take you back to those treasured moments with its Chinese New Year menu, which reimagines those familiar flavours with a thoughtful, modern twist.
Using wholesome, quality ingredients, Grain’s chefs have created a menu that bridges generations with timeless classics and modern favourites. Kick off with the comforting emperor ginseng braised chicken, a tasty collaboration with Eu Yan Sang. Pour in the accompanying bottle of Eu Yan Sang Essence of Chicken before tucking into this soul-soothing dish.
Then there’s the fuss-free cereal soft-shell prawn and crab, where you can forget the hassle of peeling and just sink your teeth in the crunchy, savoury goodness – shell and all. And you won’t want to skip the housemade dua liap otah. This giant otah is packed with fresh Spanish mackerel, prawns, and spices, and is perfect for sharing (or not, we won’t judge).
Available from January 15 to February 12, the Chinese New Year menu starts from $28.88 for early bird orders placed by January 13, with additional treats like $8.88 fortune salmon yu sheng and free fortune cookies. Order here.
