One taste of the delicious beverages and bakes at Goldies will help you understand why Winnie The Pooh was obsessed with honey. Located at Queenstown, this takeaway-only café uses The Rare Honey Company’s 100 percent Pure Raw Australian Honey in its drinks instead of sugar and other artificial sweeteners. Expect to find drinks like honey oat lattes ($9), honeycomb lattes with a chunk of raw honeycomb ($9), and the non-caffeinated wildflower honey lemon ($6.50).
Honey is also incorporated into Goldies’ bakes as well, offering treats like a lemon honey cheesecake ($9) with a lemon mascarpone whip and thyme crust, as well as warm corn bread with a creamed karri honey ($8) that is light and fluffy.
Goldies also sells jars of honey by The Rare Honey Company, so you can purchase different types of honey ranging from Jarrah honey to wildflower honey with honeycomb. Find out more about Goldies here.
