Ginza Rokukakutei Singapore (CLOSED)

With one-Michelin-star to its name at its flagship outlet in Osaka, Japan, Rokukakutei is a welcome addition to Singapore’s dining scene. It specialises in kushikatsu – deep-fried skewers of meat, seafood vegetables coated with a light layer of breadcrumbs that you can dip in six different types of sauce. Omakase sets are priced at $134 for 20 skewers, but guests with smaller appetites can choose to end their meal at any point, and they'll only be charged for the skewers they've consumed. Oenophiles can also opt for the Kushiage + Selected Wines Marriage menu ($288), which comes with 15 skewers paired with glasses of champagne, white and red wine.
