1. Jypsy

As a bohemian coastal-inspired space, many flock over to Jypsy for its easy-breezy vibes. Statement lamps and a picturesque waterfront backdrop add to the charm. Crowd-favourites include sushi, sashimi, and charcoal tsukune sticks but the spotlight falls on the signature Nest of Fries ($16) – crispy shredded potato drizzled with white truffle oil and a teriyaki balsamic sauce.

2. The Landing Point

The Landing Point makes for a grand entrance to The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, all dressed in gold hues and marble mosaics. It's an elegant venue for afternoon tea, served on a three-tier stand with savoury and sweet bites. A talented live pianist adds to the charm. When dusk falls, the sprawling 13-metre bar comes in handy for an evening tipple. Choose from a menu of champagne, wine, and cocktails – with bar bites like mini wagyu beef sliders ($34) and chicken yakitori ($24) to match.

Whether for a romantic date or celebratory night out, Italian restaurant Monti is a sure-fire winner in our books. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Marina Bay promenade, it's no surprise that the restaurant's design has won multiple accolades. Splurge on the Morgan Ranch US prime bone-in rib ($148) for two, a hefty 500 gram slab that comes served with tomatoes on vine and salsa verde.

4. La Brasserie

French restaurant La Brasserie has floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the gorgeous Marina Bay waterfront, sure to set the scene for a romantic evening ahead and score you extra points with your date. Their kitchen dishes out a la carte French bistro fare, as well as set menus for lunch (from $48) and dinner (from $78).

5. Town Restaurant

Overlooking the Singapore River, Town Restaurant offers a buffet dinner that's available from Wednesdays to Saturdays. From May 15 to July 27, tuck into a hearty spread that nods to local fare, featuring well-known hawker dishes like Michelin Bib Gourmand To-Ricos Kway Chap's kway chap (rice noodles in broth) and Warong Serembat's charcoal-grilled chicken and beef satay skewers.

6. Riviera

Expect jaw-dropping city views and equally stellar food to match at fine dining restaurant Riviera. With stunning views of the Fullerton Heritage precinct, this Mediterranean restaurant is a perfect choice for celebrating special occasions – Chef Yvan Yin sources the finest produce from both the Mediterranean and Singapore. To start, try the gambas and chorizo iberico ($38) that features fresh prawns wrapped in a crisped chorizo blanket.

7. Caffe Fernet

At modern Italian restaurant Caffe Fernet, look forward to fresh spins on traditional recipes and stunning sunset views of the Marina Bay area – made all the more enjoyable when you have a craft cocktail in hand. A must-try is the signature cacio e pepe ($29) featuring mafaldine pasta and aged pecorino. You’ll also find this on the Pasta Lunch Set menu (two-course at $40 and three-course at $46).
