Time Out says

Fotia (translating to fire in Greek), is an uninhabited Greek islet in the Libyan Sea, close to the eastern coast of Crete. But at its home in Duxton Hill, Fotia is anything but uninhabited, and is often heralded as one of Singapore’s best Greek restaurants.

Paying homage to its fiery name, Fotia is known for its Josper oven charcoal-grilled meats and al fresco seating for those classic chilled Mediterranean vibes. Naturally, the Mix Combo Sharing Platter ($74.80) is a must-have, with its charcoal grilled meat skewers and kebabs. Likewise, the crispy sweet and sour cheese mezze pies Kalitsounia ($18.80) are a must-try traditional Cretan holiday treat, made with ricotta and feta, and served with Greek honey and pomegranate flower powder (we think it would be delicious as dessert too). Other favourites include Soutzoukakia Kaserli ($28.80) for oven-baked lamb kebabs in a slightly spicy tomato sauce with graviera (Greece's second most popular cheese after feta); or the Skoumbri Kapnisto ($21.80) featuring classic smoked mackerel grilled with fennel and onions.

Finish on the Pistachio Eclair ($19.80) or the traditional and very popular Bougatsa Cream ($17.80), said to have originated in the ancient Greek city of Byzantium, later becoming known as Constantinople, and now Istanbul. Get a real taste of history with this creamy Greek custard pie wrapped in golden brown crispy phyllo, sprinkled with melted butter, and garnished with icing sugar and cinnamon.
