There's only one word to describe the cakes of Crumbb: stunning. Journalist-turned-baker Teo Pau Lin describes herself as a control freak and that meticulousness is reflected in every cake she makes. Aesthetically, her cakes are clean, elegant and minimalist and she specialises in tier cakes – prices start from $990 for a three-tier cake that can feed 140 people but of course, if you're looking for a smaller cake, she will accommodate various requests as well. The list of flavours include earl grey tea cake with salted caramel buttercream, champagne cake with raspberry and orange buttercream, vanilla cake and apple and cinnamon buttercream and more. Because she works alone, she only makes a limited amount of cakes a week – and operates on a by-appointment-only basis.
