A collaboration between Far East Flora and Tokyo bakery Signifiant Signifié, Crown Bakery & Cafe offers 45 varieties of creative rolls and viennoiseries using Hokkaido Kitanokaori flour, German sourdough starters, French butter, and honey sourced directly from the farm. Try the Earl Grey ekmek ($4.80), which packs in Taiwan longan blossom honey and whole tea leaves, the Shizuoka matcha and azuki loaf ($4.80), or the local signature: a chicken soup-infused Hainanese chicken bread ($4.50) with skinless chicken thigh pieces, garlic, ginger and shallots. The bakery also turns out sweet treats like flavoured croissants ($2.80-$4.20), Danish pastries ($3-$15), brioches ($2.20- $3.30) and a sourdough buttermilk waffle ($6) with an ice cream and fresh fruit option ($9) if you dine in.
