Another bubble tea chain has reached our shores – this time it is Taiwan’s Chun Fun How, famous for its grammable’ floral cups and sweet potato milk tea. If you haven’t heard of this chain before, it’s because the bubble tea brand is somewhat of “a hidden gem”. According to the brand’s local representative, Chun Fun How’s outlets are largely concentrated within Taiwan’s CBD and popular among its office crowd.
You’ll be able to sample teas imported directly from its homeland, which includes the green, oolong, and the signature Four Seasons Tea ($3.80) with light, floral notes. Have it plain, or sweetened with lychee honey in the Lychee Four Season with Aloe Vera ($6.60). Equally popular is the sweet potato black tea latte ($7.60), made using yellow sweet potatoes that are blended down to lend a creamy-sweet finish. Other highlights include the fragrant osmanthus oolong milk tea ($5.80) with a toasty undertone, and the refreshing winter melon lemonade with pearls ($6) to beat the summer heat.
