Time Out says

Trek up to Dempsey to ring in Christmas in apt style – in a former chapel now home to The White Rabbit. The modern European restaurant is serving three festive menus over the holiday season.

A weekday lunch, available throughout December, that gives the young talents of the kitchen time in the spotlight. They're cooking up three courses ($46) that includes salt-baked tiger prawns, braised pork shoulder and chocolate moelleux.

On the night before Christmas, the three-course menu ($108-$128) takes a turn to the up-scale. Think eucalyptus-smoked trout, duck breast, truffle pasta and, for sweets, a Mont Blanc tart. Top up $58 to pair your courses with wine.

And when the day finally arrives, your presents are opened and you're nursing a hangover, The White Rabbit's brunch ($98-$118/adults, $49/child) will patch you up again. Three stations – for live seafood, roasts and eggs à la minute – are just at the tip of the iceberg. There are also appetisers like radicchio salad, hot plates such as roast porchetta, and, for dessert, tiramisu trifles, chocolate peanut butter mousse, and strawberry brownie shortcake.
