Sharing the shop space with Stateland café, it feels like you've walked into hipster haven as the walls are adorned with dried wheat, copies of Kinfolk placed along the shelves for decoration (they were dusty when touched) and acoustic covers of pop songs being piped through the café. This Japanese-inspired ice cream parlour prides itself on the freshness of its foods, all of which are prepared in-house. New flavours are introduced monthly, with previous menus featuring cookie butter, honey dew sago and matcha ($6). Their signature 'softnest' dish ($14-$15) comes either in single flavour or has both flavours in a dual-swirl nestled on a rice donut or a filled donut ball. The ice cream is milky and smooth but without the toppings, there's not much flavour. It also melts fast, so don't wait too long taking those Instagram-worthy shots.
