Bread Street Kitchen at the star-studded Marina Bay Sands is modelled after Gordon Ramsay's casual restaurant of the same name in London. At the two-storey restaurant, executive chef Sabrina Stillhart – a ten-year-veteran in the celebrity chef's restaurant group – and her team turns out Brit-European standards like shepherd's pie ($38), roasted veal carpaccio ($26) and plates of Dingley Dell pork belly ($28), and adds Asian inflections in tamarind spiced chicken wings ($18), and a zing of sriracha in the signature BSK burger ($26).
The basement dining room, decked out with an East London industrial edge by Wilson Associate's Blueplate Studios – the same American designers who worked on David Myer's Adrift – features views of the open kitchen and a private dining room for 14. Upstairs, the floor-to-ceiling windows offers views of the waterfront to diners and punters seated at the bar for the classic and creative cocktails and wines.
