The former Dim Joy digs are now laid with plastic green golf tuft in the front, with fittings that straddle eras and origins all over. So it’s the menus that we hope hold this concept together: French onion soup ($5.80), ‘Eggs Blackstone’ (two poached eggs on English muffin with grilled bacon and hollandaise sauce, $13.80), waffles ($12.80) and freestyle breakfast (pick five from nine items including snail sausages and rösti, $22). At the bar, White Ribbon house wines from Australia ($11 per glass) top the list of 17 bottles ($48-$200), while the cocktails step out of line a little with a Pizza Martini (Don Julio Blanco tequila, tomatoes and spices, $18). One pet peeve: they don’t provide complimentary water.
