It’s amusing to find a terrific French kitchen in a non-airconditioned shophouse in the middle of Little India. Open only for dinner, the place fills up quickly with locals and French expats who want to enjoy their caramel sweet onion soup and fragrant cut of duck pâté. Nicely oiled lamb chops are perfectly paired with sautéed herbed potatoes and aubergines, while the richness of the roast duck is cut with a creamy risotto. We found the honey cheesecake too milky and the chocolate cake oddly textured, though. Then again, the diners at the next table practically inhaled their profiteroles.
