If you want a good traditional Japanese fix, pull up into the sturdy, high-backed wood chairs around the communal teppanyaki tables, sushi bar or the private dining rooms. We love owner Katsuhiro Watanabe’s handmade, non-genetically modified tofu; the shiokara natto appetiser (fermented soy beans topped with sliced, salted raw squid and entrails); and plenty of that high-grade Tsukiji seafood.
Lunch $25++, dinner $35++.
