Loo's Hainanese Curry Rice

Having been around for more than 50 years, Loo’s Hainanese Curry Rice is housed in a rundown coffee shop opposite the Tiong Bahru market and is almost always bombarded with long queues. If you’re craving its famous curry rice, you’ll have to get there early to wait in line before it sells out, but it will all be worth it after that first mouthful of rich, fragrant and not-so-spicy curry. After you select your choice of meats and vegetables, they are piled onto a heap of rice and generously soaked in curry sauce. The squid and deep fried pork chop dishes are a definite must-try.
