Boasting 11 outlets scattered throughout the island, Lerk Thai offers an ample combination of authentic palace cuisine, hybrid fusion dishes and street food. Separated into ‘bistro’ and ‘restaurant’ concepts, the former has a relaxed atmosphere for casual dining, while the latter offers fine dining in a contemporary setting. With a blend of fragrant herbs and zesty spices, their signature dishes such as the refreshing green papaya salad with prawns ($8.90), the hearty pineapple rice ($10.90) and the flavourful tom yum seafood soup ($5/$18) are a cut above the rest on the menu, but things tend to be a bit pricey at this laidback, mid-range restaurant.
