Time Out says

Conveniently located, but confused as a frog in a sock, Deli-Vege provides a 7-Eleven atmosphere masquerading as urban chic. Sitting gingerly among your new surroundings, enjoy the murals on the wall that offer appetite-suppressing statements about animal’s ‘pathetic bodies’ suffering ‘electric shocks’ while their ‘families are slaughtered’. We couldn’t help but feel that the decor’s message was preaching to the choir. While the menu offers a wide range, navigating the menu’s layout and grammar was an arduous task. The saving grace was in the food and delicious juices, both of which were fresh and reasonably priced. Sceptics can head straight to the black-pepper ‘steak’ or impressively authentic mock prawns for a hit of guilt-free carcass, while the tempura got a thumbs-up from both judges and the animal kingdom. With better-sized portions than most and a waiter who arrives and departs from your table in eerie silence (okay, terrifying), we’ll be back. Only beware of the spring rolls: they were the only thing left on our plates at the end of the meal.
