There's nothing like a Bollywood tune to get you moving, and moving is what you'll be doing at Suntamed Beach Festival. Billed as Southeast Asia's first Bollywood-centric sundown beach festival, the event is back for a second round with bigger crowds, bigger stars, and more irresistible dance jams.
Suntamed Beach Festival hits Tipsy Unicorn, a beach club on Siloso Beach, on August 17. Headlining the event is RITVIZ, an Indian singer-songwriter and electronic dance music maestro who rose to prominence with the hit song 'Udd Gaye'. Joining him is The Progressive Brothers, an Indian DJ duo from New Delhi that has shared stages with international acts like Steve Aoki and David Guetta. Six local DJs, four international acts, and live performances by NUS students round out the hard-thumping party.
What's a Desi party without Desi food? Suntamed Beach Festival will also bring all sorts of delicious Indian eats to fuel your partying late into the night.
Organised by Untamed Events, the festival is a celebration of Indian culture, dance, and music that's meant for everyone. "Whether you’re here for the Desi food or to enjoy the music, we invite all of Singapore to join us," says Maithili Dabadgaonkar, Marketing Head of Untamed Events.
