Queer party series Intervention is back with its fifth instalment, and you can bet it’s going to be as wild and weird as it’s always been. Don’t be surprised to see people wandering around in zentai suits and other outrageous outfits. And scoring the scene is the Indonesian duo Gabber Modus Operandi, an “accidental project” by Kasimyn and Ican Harem, known for their high-octane sets that smashes Indonesian folk music (jathilan, dangdut, koplo) with strains of gabber, grindcore, and noise. If that all sounds like gibberish, know that it’s good gibberish. Joining them is the DJ collective St. John’s Brigade for a night of no-reservations fun.
