The results for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 are out, and one Singapore restaurant makes the cut. Coming in 24th among some of the most illustrious dining establishments in the world is none other than Odette at the National Gallery Singapore. Earlier this year, Odette also clinched the title of the 10th best restaurant in Asia and the best restaurant in Singapore for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024.

This is not the first time the modern French outfit is making an appearance on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list – Odette was awarded the 14th spot last year. Chef Julien Royer, the man behind the three-Michelin-starred establishment, also bagged the 2023 Chef’s Choice Award.

Other Singapore restaurants that appeared among some of the biggest names in the international dining scene include Burnt Ends (#68), Labyrinth (#92), and Meta (#95). These restaurants managed to retain their spots in the 51 to 100 list, though the three-Michelin-starred Zén (previously #69) unfortunately fell off the rankings.

Coming in first this year is Disfrutar, a Barcelona-based restaurant offering two parallel menus with 30 courses each, packed with imaginative and experimental dishes. The restaurant moved up a place from 2023 to clinch the top spot this year.

The highly-anticipated list was revealed yesterday at a lavish awards ceremony held at Wynn Las Vegas, while the 51 to 100 list was announced on May 22. This is the 22nd edition of the annual ranking.
