TIME Magazine’s World's Greatest Places list for 2024 has been rolled out and drum roll please – Singapore’s newborn restaurant AIR CCCC has made the list as one of the world’s 100 extraordinary places to explore. And frankly, we’re not exactly jumping out of our seats here because, let’s be honest, the beautifully designed 40,000-square-foot restaurant owned by renowned chefs from Noma Matthew Orlando and Will Goldfarb definitely deserves a spot on the list.

So, how exactly did TIME survey the world? Putting together the 2024 list took the gathering of nominations for various places from the acclaimed publication’s global network of correspondents and contributors, along with an application process. This includes all sorts of establishments – from hotels, cruises, restaurants, attractions, museums and parks, focusing on places that are offering fresh experiences. This year’s list also included a broader range of establishments worldwide. 2024’s list showcased 100 exceptional destinations to visit and stay at this year, this contrasts 2023’s list that featured 50 cities.

TIME’s handy guide to the world’s best places to visit range from art destinations such as the Saka Museum in Jimbaran, Indonesia; the Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan, China; to nature attractions such as Dive Tutukaka in Tutukaka, New Zealand; and Corrientes province, Argentina’s Iberá Provincial Reserve. This also includes restaurants such as Origem from Salvador, Brazil and Yum Cha from Santiago, Chile.
