And just in time to whet your appetite, Google has revealed the top ten destinations that Singaporeans want to travel to.
The results are based on Google Flights searches with the highest search volume for the months of June to August 2023.
Usual suspects like Tokyo, Japan and Bangkok, Thailand are on the top ten list, but it's Bali, Indonesia that takes the cake. We see why – Bali is less than three hours away by plane, with tantalisingly beautiful beaches, lush terraced rice fields, hip cafés and vibrant local food. Google has helpfully shared some tips on snagging a good flight deal too. According to their data, flight tickets are cheapest between four to six months before your planned departure date, reaching their lowest point at about five-and-a-half months before. So, if you're too late to buy those cheap flight tickets for the summer holidays, then start planning for that epic year-end trip to these dreamy winter destinations.
