American rock band, The Strokes, is coming to Singapore on August 2 for the first time ever as a headliner. They will perform at Marina Bays Sands Expo and Convention Centre as part of their 2023 Asia tour.

Free-standing tickets are priced from $148 and will be available to the public from June 7 at 2pm via www.ticketmaster.sg and www.marinabaysands.com. There’s also a VIP Experience package for $188 that includes merchandise.

Their sixth studio album, The New Abnormal, won The Best Rock Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards in 2021. This album was their first in seven years. Their latest album release, The Strokes The Singles - Volume 01, was in February 2023. It comprises a seven-inch vinyl box set with ten original vinyl singles released from the band’s first three studio albums.

The Strokes is made up of singer Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr, bassist Nikolai Fraiture and drummer Fabrizio Moretti.
