The house of Hermès’ latest project takes a fun, lighthearted approach to living beautiful. Cue the Monde d’Hermès Kiosk, a pop-up located at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza held from May 12 to 16.
Inspired by traditional Parisian newspaper kiosks, the pop-up, decked in the house’s quintessential orange hue, celebrates the launch of Le Monde d’ Hermès, the luxury brand’s bi-annual magazine. The publication offers a look into the world of Hermès, its connections to fashion, art, travel and architecture via features, interviews and photos.
An equally visual treat, the Spring/Summer 2022 magazine offers creative collages, photographs and archival Hermès imagery that revolves around the theme of lightness. Grab a copy of the book at the Monde d’Hermès Kiosk, which also plays host to some quirky characters.
Meet the pop-up’s host, Mr Kiosk, who will share everything about the new Le Monde d’Hermès magazine. Get your portrait drawn by The Portraitist, who’s excellent in creating quick sketches of the pop-up’s attendees. The Sculptor will also be present to surprise guests with balloon sculptures. If you’re lucky, The Poet will craft a personalised haiku for you based on a short conversation with them. And if you have a green thumb, The Gardener will be there to offer gardening tips and mini potted plants for guests.
