One music festival is single-handedly keeping Singapore’s festival scene alive, and that's none other than Sunda Festival. Back for its third edition from April 17 to 19, the festival kicks off at MDLR before taking over the open spaces of Sarimbun Scout Camp. Expect an all-out experience packed with music, food, wellness activities, family-friendly workshops, and everything in between.

It all starts with an Opening Night party at MDLR, where Rush Hour Records co-founder Antal will set the tone before the festival moves on to Sarimbun. Over the next two days, get ready for some of the region’s most exciting DJs and live acts, as well as visiting international stars like Danilo Plessow (MCDE) and La Mamie’s. The Jurong Stage will feature next-level stage visuals by Jaymi McManus, @worm.grrl, and Jen O’Connor, while the Nomad Stage by Fred Perry will be a melting pot of fresh and established DJ talent, set against a backdrop designed by Culm-Innate and Solar Punk Studios.

New for 2025, The Pavilion gets a full-on glow-up. It’s now the ultimate recharge spot, featuring a chill-out corner by Santai, free oat coffee and soft serve from Oatly (in collaboration with Narrative Coffee), and a late-night ambient lounge for those in-between moments.

But Sunda isn’t just about losing yourself on the dance floor – this year’s wellness lineup includes qi gong, cold immersion therapy (actual ice baths) by Wild Pearl and Tundra, and movement meditation. Looking to get hands-on? Zero-waste coffee clay crafting with G Maximus, a body rhythm workshop by Mantravine, and slow fashion jamming with Eco Fashion Weekend SG are all on the agenda. Families aren’t left out either – Keen is hosting an Easter Scavenger Hunt and paracord crafting (in collaboration with Play!), plus all-day field games and Aliwal Chess Club’s neon chess. And if you’re craving a dose of ballroom culture, Fomo Homo is bringing a special voguing performance on Friday night at the Nomad Stage.

“We wanted Sunda to be more than just a music festival,” says Nick Bong, Head of Programmes. “It’s a full-on experience – whether you’re here to dance, chill, or do something completely unexpected.”

Of course, no festival is complete without grub. Fuel up with Just Two Friends and Hood Lemak’s rice and noodle bowls, Lavi Taco’s Mexican street food, Sidecar Handcrafted’s gourmet hotdogs, and Boujee Botanicals’ plant-powered dishes. Over at the Heineken Silver bamboo bar, early birds on Friday and Saturday can score free beers during Silver Hour, only while stocks last. Heineken Silver is also setting up a Jurong Stage lounge featuring an interactive community mural by Mural Lingo. And for the oat milk devotees? Oatly and Narrative Coffee have teamed up to serve free Narrative x Oatly Dirty Coffee, Oat Lattes, and Soft Serve, all 100% plant-based and ridiculously good.
