If you’re into all things street – art, fashion, music, tattoos, and collectible toys – then mark your calendar for Singapore’s premier street culture convention Culture Cartel this January 17 to 19, 2025. Happening at Singapore Expo Hall 5, this three-day event will feature over 80 brands unveiling fresh collaborations, interactive exhibitions, workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions, interviews with top thought leaders, raffles, lucky draws, and exclusive curated door gifts.

Highlights include several artists making their Singapore debut, such as Canadian TikTok sensation David Huynh, with over 2.3 million followers, best known for his viral dollar bill art inspired by vintage cartoons. Attendees can purchase his highly sought-after pieces, but only while stocks last. Meanwhile, Tony Rapacioli of The Visual Dome (@thevisualdome) – a  music producer turned one of the world’s top AI artists with 721,000 Instagram followers – unveils his first-ever AI art exhibition.

Those itching to get one or two new inks should also check out Culture Cartel’s tattoo segment. If you’re into realistic tattoos, then you’ll be happy to know that award-winning tattooist Valentina Riabova will be making a trip down to the convention all the way from Austin, Texas.

Art toy collectors are also in for a treat as ToyQube takes centre stage with its one-of-a-kind art sculptures by internationally renowned artists. Elim Chew, founder of the streetwear brand 77th Street, will also present a never-before-seen Star Wars collection, featuring a rare vintage 12-inch action figure line released by Kenner between 1978 and 1980. Additionally, Singapore's largest Hello Kitty collection by Sofie Chandra will also be on display. Look forward to coming up close with rare collaboration pieces such as the Hello Kitty x Louis Vuitton bag, upcycled by acclaimed American designer Sheron Barber.
