Singapore is extending its Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs) to more countries starting from November 29, according to the Ministry of Health (MOH) at a press conference on November 15.

If you have family and loved ones in Indonesia, and potentially India, they will be able to enter Singapore quarantine-free from November 29; from December 6 onwards, this will also apply to travellers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

When the VTLs come into effect, travellers will be able to go between India, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE without quarantine, as these countries already welcome vaccinated travellers from Singapore.

However, Indonesia remains closed to general travel from Singapore – so you'll have to wait a little longer for that relaxing getaway on the country's gorgeous beaches.

More information on the VTLs will be released in due time, including the confirmation of the travel lane with India. In the meantime, do check the entry requirements of your intended VTL destination at safetravel.ica.gov.sg before booking your tickets.
