According to the research of travel experts at Accor to determine the top 20 trending destinations in 2025, we placed as the second most trending vacation spot, after New York City in the USA (#1) and overtaking the Maldives (#3).
The research analysed two years' worth of UK search data for over 200 popular destinations, combined with survey insights and keyword search volumes to predict which destinations will be hotspots for the year ahead. Out of a search trend score of 100, Singapore received 96.1, just one point behind New York City. The same applies to its media trend score (98) and overall score (96.58).
No need to wonder why our humble city ranks among the most desirable holiday destinations – we have one of the world’s best airports, amazing attractions, and even a UNESCO-listed hawker culture that local foodies are proud to be a part of.
